  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 24 Hershey kisses unwrapped

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add the softened butter and granulated sugar to a large bowl and mix until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until fully combined.
  4. Add the strawberry cake mix, all-purpose flour, and baking powder to the bowl.
  5. Mix until a thick, evenly blended dough forms.
  6. Scoop the dough into rounded tablespoon-sized balls and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes, until set and lightly cracked on top.
  8. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately press one Hershey kiss into the center of each cookie.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
  10. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
